Corn Maize

CONWAY — Come “raise the Cup” at Sherman Farm's Corn Maize this fall.
The Corn Maize — offering fun agricultural entertainment for the entire family — returns for a fifth season to East Conway's Sherman Farm weekends through Oct. 30, including on Oct. 10 for Columbus Day. The attraction opens at 10 a.m. each weekend day and closes at 5 p.m. through Oct. 16, and closes at 4 p.m., Oct. 22 through 30.

This year's Corn Maize honors MVP netminder Tim Thomas of the Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins.
In addition, the farm offers a haunted maze, “the Maize Massacre,” Friday and Saturday nights beginning Oct. 7 and continuing through Oct. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. The flashlight non-haunted maze is open the same hours for all ages Oct. 21, 22, 28, and 29.

Among the offerings are the Moo Express, a hayride, corn boxes, pedal tractors, a pumpkin patch, a playground, a new grain train that offers rides around the grounds, and also new for this year, a jumping pillow.

The attraction also features corn cannons, and interactive “Maize” games.

School groups may also arrange tours to visit weekdays to get hands-on farm educational experience.

Refreshments are available at the concession stand. Enjoy kettle corn, cider donuts, hot dogs, hamburgers and more.
